Software Test Engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.

As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.

Your primary focus will be on testing and quality assurance, where you will identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems. You will also conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software products
    • Maintain accurate records of test results and provide regular feedback to stakeholders
  • Test Automation:
    • Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
    • Benchmark and optimize test automation pipelines for maximum efficiency
    • Create API tests using tools like Postman or REST Assured
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement:
    • Promote effective communication between cross-functional teams through Agile methodologies
    • Analyze testing processes and propose improvements to increase productivity and efficiency

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Test Engineer who can work collaboratively within our agile environment. If you have 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Testing Expertise:
    • Experience with manual and automated testing approaches, including performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
    • Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Please note that relevant testing certifications, experience with cloud platforms, and knowledge of security testing principles are highly valued but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ISTQB certification
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
