Job Description

About this Role:

We are hiring an experienced and client-focused professional to lead fund accounting operations, manage client relationships, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality financial reporting and fund administration services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely fund accounting services including financial statements, NAVs (monthly/quarterly), capital accounts, distribution notices, and tax provisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate audits.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive automation, efficiency, and cost improvements within processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with structured career development and succession planning.
  • Monitor and control operational risks by reviewing performance metrics and implementing a risk-based approach.

What You Will Be Doing:

This role involves managing the day-to-day fund accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial reports and statements. You will also be responsible for coordinating audits, managing client relationships, and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in fund accounting with strong exposure to private equity or hedge funds.
  • Proven leadership in managing and developing teams within a matrix structure.
  • Strong analytical, financial reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and fund accounting systems.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
