OCI Cloud Administrator

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OCI administration, including tenancy, VCNs, compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnets, and storage options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing OCI infrastructure, including setup, configuration, migrations, tuning, patching, and monitoring.
  • Configuring Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and managing OCI infrastructure.
  • Provisioning storage, compute nodes, networks, and understanding requirements for the same.
  • Handling certificate renewals, HA architecture in an OCI environment, and setting up HA concepts in DR and Infrastructure for DR Sites.
  • Migrating data and systems using migration tools.
  • Performing performance management and cost optimization.
  • Analyzing solution designs that accompany business requirements for technical delivery.
  • Assisting in design decisions, developing and implementing cloud solutions.

Requirements:

  • Certified OCI Architect Associate/Professional (Mandatory)
  • Certified OCI Migration and Integration Specialist (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Security Associate/Professional (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Cloud Operations Associate (Preferred)

Work Experience:

4-10 years of experience in OCI administration and related fields.
