About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and agile methodologies.

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform. They will also develop and maintain configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Ruby. Additionally, they will automate CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby, proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture, expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, and solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.

They will also have scripting experience with Python, experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration, proficiency in Docker for containerization, familiarity with Payments systems and PCI DSS compliance requirements, and proven experience in application migration to cloud platforms.

The Cloud Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and drive innovation in self-service automation for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Ruby.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline operations and support self-service capabilities.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage container lifecycle.
  • Support application migration to cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory standards in the payments domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Drive innovation in self-service automation for end users.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Scripting experience with Python.
