As a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions that meet our business needs.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Cloud Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the overall architecture of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures using AWS
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into robust cloud solutions
  • Implementing monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Safeguarding cloud environments through effective security measures and compliance with industry regulations
  • Developing strategies to optimize cloud costs without compromising performance or security
  • Responding to system alerts, investigating, and resolving related system failures, and recovering/restore failed systems and applications
  • Mentoring team members in all facets listed above

Requirements:

  • 7 to 9 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Strong experience in implementing access control using IAM
  • Experience with repository management (Git)
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Strong experience in AWS implementation and administration
  • Experience in monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure
  • Experience in monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of the organization
  • Process and technical documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Scripting capability and ability to develop scripted AWS infrastructure
  • General understanding of multi-region and hybrid cloud architectures
