We are seeking an accomplished Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to oversee and manage our cloud infrastructure operations globally. This role entails providing round-the-clock managed support for these cloud environments, leading a team, and ensuring customer satisfaction exceeds expectations.
- Develop relationships with partners to identify opportunities and ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address issues promptly.
- Oversee a team of Cloud Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, resolving issues through hands-on involvement.
- Maintain open communication channels with customers via tickets, calls, emails, and regular sync-up calls.
- Evaluate team members' performance on a periodic basis, providing constructive feedback to the team and HR.
- At least 10 years of experience in providing high-level technical support in a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, containers, virtualization, and related concepts.
- Familiarity with Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring systems like Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or ManageEngine.
- Strong understanding of Storage, Networking, Backup, and Bash fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
- Proven experience in managing a team of at least four people in this role.
- Bachelor's degree and relevant experience.
