Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) expert to design and implement high-performance architectures for our customers.
  • The ideal candidate will take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • They will be responsible for partitioning algorithms for implementation in Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and/or software, providing estimates on FPGA resources.
  • This role requires strong coding, simulation, and peer review skills, as well as the ability to maintain project documentation, design documents, and analysis reports.
  • Additionally, the selected candidate will provide support during integration phases and production teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of DSP principles and experience with VHDL and Verilog languages
  • Proficiency in Xilinx tools for synthesis and implementation, as well as thorough knowledge of Xilinx FPGAs
  • Strong hardware design and debugging expertise, including logic design and functional simulation
  • Ability to model algorithms in Octave/MATLAB and generate test vectors and visualize data
  • Working knowledge of interfacing with Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) and Digital-to-Analog Convertors (DACs) and interpreting their performance
  • Fluency in configuration/version control tools like SVN and good communication/presentation skills
