Senior Manager – Design and Engineering Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our design and engineering support team for digital axle counter solutions.

The role demands deep technical expertise in fail-safe signalling products, embedded systems, and reliability analysis combined with the ability to engage with stakeholders across Indian Railways and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide design and engineering support for digital axle counter solutions ensuring compliance with safety and signalling standards.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to address design and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product failures propose corrective actions and drive engineering improvements.
  • Manage engineering documentation and ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and project management.

Requirements:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Railway Signalling domain.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fail-safe signalling product design (HW/SW) and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on understanding of EN IEC IS standards and railway signalling concepts.
  • Expertise in RAMS methodologies including MTBF RBD FTA and reliability calculations.
  • Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
