Job Title:

Academic Counsellor

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and approachable counsellor to guide students through their higher education journey.

This role involves assisting students in selecting suitable courses and universities, primarily for international education, and supporting them throughout the application and visa process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized counselling to students about study options in various countries.
  • Assist students in choosing appropriate universities and courses based on their academic background, interests, and goals.
  • Guide students through the application process, including preparing documentation, statement of purpose (SOP), and online applications.
  • Support students in understanding and preparing for visa procedures.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with students and ensure timely submission of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with university admission requirements, deadlines, and international education trends.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in student counselling, customer service, or a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
  • Willingness to learn about overseas education systems and visa processes.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, etc.).
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Interest in international education or previous experience in an educational consultancy.
  • Knowledge of countries like UK, Canada, Australia, USA, etc.
  • Familiarity with CRM or student management software.
