About Marine Operations Associate Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee daily operations of our fleet, coordinate with various departments, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and assist in the scheduling and execution of voyages.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage vessels under time charter, ensuring they meet terms and conditions by coordinating with vessel masters.
  • Collect cargo documents from vessels at load/discharge ports.
  • Analyze and evaluate vessel performance in charterers' performance format.
  • Prepare freight invoices and demurrage claims as per charter party and follow up with charterers for timely payment.
  • Ensure deck and engine logs (containing sea passage performance) are sent to charterers within stipulated time.
  • Raise monthly charter hire invoices, freight invoices, bunker reimbursement invoices, and demurrage invoices to charterers or brokers – timely submission and follow-ups.
  • Assist Vessel Operation Superintendent in day-to-day work for smooth vessel operation.
  • Select, appoint, and approve agents' PDA and FDA.
