Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The primary function of this role is to drive customer satisfaction by corresponding with technicians, parts staff, and consumers via phone, email, and live chat on matters such as cataloging, product specifications, troubleshooting mechanical difficulties, and other diagnostic inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer queries on technical or troubleshooting aspects of automotive products.
  • Capture full call details and resolution using a call handling database.
  • Utilize OE and Aftermarket Service Information Websites for assisting customers with diagnostic inquiries.
  • Maintain and work with assigned department metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong automotive knowledge and experience working with mechanics or technicians.
  • Experience with Tier 1 suppliers, original equipment (OE) manufacturers, or major car service dealerships is an advantage.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills and proficiency in using basic computer programs like Excel and database tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of English proficiency.
  • Possess skills in online database platforms and ability to multitask and monitor multiple forms of communications while working on multiple computer screens and programs.
