Job Title: Automotive Simulation Expert

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned technology expert to lead transformative simulation projects in the automotive industry. With expertise in simulation tools like Tecnomatix, DELMIA, or Flexsim, you will provide strategic guidance, lead client engagements, and drive innovation in automotive operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop simulation strategies aligned with client business goals, such as reducing production cycle times or improving quality metrics.
  • Lead end-to-end simulation projects, from requirement analysis to model development, validation, and implementation, using tools like Tecnomatix, DELMIA etc.
  • Provide expert consulting on applying simulation to automotive use cases, including assembly line optimization, material flow, and supply chain logistics.
  • Identify new business opportunities, contributing to proposal development and client pitches to expand simulation engagements.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with automotive clients, acting as a trusted advisor on simulation-driven transformation.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, conference presentations, and industry forums on automotive simulation.

Requirements:

  • Must have skills:
    • Over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong focus on simulation for manufacturing processes.
    • Expertise in simulation tools like Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, Dassault DELMIA, Flexsim or similar tools applied to automotive use cases.
    • Deep knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, material handling, and quality control.
    • Proven track record of leading high-impact simulation projects with quantifiable business outcomes (e.g., reduced cycle times, cost savings).
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage C-suite executives and technical teams.
  • Good to have skills:
    • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and automation, and their integration with simulation.
    • Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) for integration with simulation workflows.
    • Experience with tools like Siemens xDT , Dassault 3D experience platform.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications: Certifications in PLM systems or Industry 4.0 technologies is preferred.
