Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our maritime software development team. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for testing and quality assurance to make a meaningful impact in the maritime industry.

This role involves performing automated testing, creating test plans and cases, collaborating with developers and designers, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, identifying defects, tracking key quality metrics, and promoting best practices in software quality assurance.

  • Automated Testing: Develop and execute automated tests using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Playwright.
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Create comprehensive test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test environments are set up correctly.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Quality Metrics and Reporting: Track key quality metrics and provide regular updates on test results and defect trends.
