Job Title: IT Service Management Architect

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced IT service management architect to design, implement and govern enterprise-wide IT operations management solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute IT service management strategies that align with business objectives and ensure seamless integration with other IT processes and cloud platforms.
  • Evaluate existing IT service management tools and processes, propose improvements and automation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure effective communication and workflow.
  • Establish best practices for IT service management, including CMDB health, data quality and service visibility.
  • Guide the implementation of monitoring tools with event correlation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow IT service management suite (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Cloud Management).
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes, CMDB structure and relationship modeling.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Native Tools (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Operations).
  • Good understanding of network protocols, infrastructure and application topologies.
  • Experience in API integrations, orchestration and automation tools.

Preferred Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist IT service management.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
  • Any cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to lead a technical team and mentor junior engineers.
  • Client-facing experience for requirement gathering and solution presentations.
