Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to oversee mission-critical cloud infrastructure for our global clientele. This position involves providing 24x7 managed support for these cloud environments, leading a team, and ensuring customer satisfaction exceeds expectations. You will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams by sharing your insights and suggestions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with partners to identify opportunities. Ensure the customer's expectations are consistently met. Resolve issues holistically, focusing on the entire problem.

Review tickets and escalate to management when necessary.

Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, provide technical guidance and expertise where required.

Act as the primary point of contact in case of escalations and resolve issues with a hands-on approach

Interact with customers via tickets, calls, emails, and regular sync-up calls.

Evaluate team members' performance periodically and provide feedback to the team and HR.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of experience and a proven track record of delivering L3 technical support in a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization.

In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, containers, virtualization, and related technologies and concepts.

Familiarity with Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technology.

Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine etc.).

Good working knowledge of storage, networking, backup, and Bash.

Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.

Proven ability to lead a team of at least 4 people in this role.

Qualifications:

A relevant bachelor's degree.

A minimum of 10 years of experience.
