Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to administer our cloud infrastructure services and manage multiple cloud servers.

This role involves deploying and managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG, etc., as well as implementing backup and disaster recovery using Azure services. Additionally, you will work with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies, and create Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administer Azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS services, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting of infrastructure services like VMs, DBs, Storage accounts, Application Gateways, Load balancers, AKS, VNETs, WAF, and DevOps components.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure services and multiple cloud servers.
  • Deploy and manage Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG, etc.
  • Implement Backup and Disaster Recovery using Azure services.
  • Work with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies.
  • Create Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates).
  • Design and implement Kubernetes solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps projects, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Repos.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in administering Azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS services.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in firewall rule configuration is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Azure cloud platform and awareness of multi-platform solutions and capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of containers, including orchestration with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • General working knowledge of Kubernetes design and implementation.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Repos.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with delivery engineering teams.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Desired Certifications: AZ 104, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Additional technology areas and experience: Linux, PowerShell, BASH, Cloud platform specific automation tooling, additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, data experience, networking experience.
