The essence of the role

As our new IT Infrastructure Manager you will:

  • Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of Data Center hardware components, including servers, storage devices, networking equipment, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and upgrades of hardware and software within the data center.
  • Coordinate for IT Infrastructure and Cross Functional requirements.
  • Analyze Operations Data and prepare required reports & presentation.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and manage resource utilization, including server capacity, storage space, and network bandwidth, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration between the data center and other business systems.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including executives, to provide updates on IT Infrastructure & Support operations and address any concerns.
  • Proactive approach towards taking ownership and accountability for assigned projects and tasks.

Who are you?

In order to contribute in this role you have:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • 8-12 years of experience managing IT Infrastructure & Operation
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions to oversee IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in SLA Management & Service Desk Ticketing tool
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Vmware, Storage, SAN network
  • Good command over network Switching, routing, Network security, WAN Links, VPNs, etc.
  • Good Communication and stakeholders' management skills
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration skills. Collaborating with other departments to align IT with overall business objectives.
  • Good hands-on experience in Excel, PowerPoint, etc

Big plus

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have:

· Understanding of Servers/storage/backup/Network infrastructure.

· Familiarity with Privileges Access Management

· Experience with server virtualization and cloud infrastructure.

· Understanding of IT Audits and Compliance Standard , ISMS, ISO, GITC etc.
