Our school is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to lead our Primary Years Programme. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating an engaging, student-centered environment and will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to promote the principles of the educational framework.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Design: Develop, implement, and review the curriculum in alignment with IB guidelines, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning experience for all students.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Foster a collaborative culture among teachers, promoting open communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Professional Growth: Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge in areas such as pedagogy, technology integration, and educational innovation.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with parents and the school community to promote understanding of the educational programme, building strong relationships and fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Assessment Coordination: Coordinate and support student assessments, maintaining accurate records and providing timely feedback to inform teaching practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and the IB organization, ensuring a seamless and effective working relationship.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong leadership ability and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching and a strong understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP
