Qapita is a pre-Series B equity management platform for startups and listed companies.

We support over 2,000 clients across Asia, ANZ and the US, engaging their investors and 350,000 employees holding more than USD 60 billion of equity value.

Our platform offers cap table management tools for startup founders and provides VCs with a holistic view of their portfolio companies, fund administration and portfolio valuation and reporting tools.

It also facilitates LP engagement, empowers private and public companies to manage their equity and cash incentive programs (ESOP).

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Analyst to support our growing client base in the Global Private and Public Markets.

This role involves working closely with clients, helping them navigate international business and equity valuations, audit processes, and ensuring they maximize the value of Qapita's services.

  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support private company and share option valuations, warrants, and other derivative instruments.
  • Conduct various valuation methodologies such as OPM Back-solve, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Black Scholes Merton (BSM) and others.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Address audit inquiries and provide documentation supporting valuation methodologies and assumptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely and accurate management reporting.

Requirements:

Legally authorized to work in India without requiring a work visa sponsorship.

Relocation to Pune required.

Excellent academic grades with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable university.

Advanced degrees or professional certifications will be a plus.

Individuals with ≤ 3 years of work experience with strong technical skills are welcome to apply.

Strong understanding of financial modelling and valuation techniques.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
