Opportunity Capture Specialist

The Opportunity Capture Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities across both public and private sectors.

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector. They should possess strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of cost and financials, as well as impeccable attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture Lifecycle Management: Develop teaming, pricing, and proposal strategies to support business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market scans to identify potential opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the proposal process, including reviewing and qualifying RFIs and RFPs, and preparing compelling written proposals that showcase capabilities.
  • Reference Database Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive reference databases for technical, management, and past performance, ensuring easy access to valuable information.
  • Content Development: Create compliant and compelling content that leverages industry expertise, supporting the capture of new business opportunities.
  • Lessons Learned: Conduct after-action reviews for all contracts, documenting lessons learned and implementing necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategies, and actions.
Requirements:
  • Capture Experience: Proven track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of cost and financials, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Skill Set: Impeccable attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and excellent leadership and project management skills.
Education:
  • Degree: Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., English, Journalism, Communications).
