Senior Data Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Strategist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and a proven track record of designing and implementing effective data solutions. They will be responsible for leading the development of our data strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to design and develop features in our existing data warehouse.
  • Lead the development of batch ETL pipelines and define data architecture.
  • Partner with engineers and data analysts to build reliable datasets that can be trusted, understood, and used by the rest of the company.
  • Work with various data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, and Prefect.
Technical Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of data architecture and models, including data warehousing and big data technologies.
  • Solid expertise in data modeling paradigms such as Kimball, Inmon, Data Marts, Data Vault, and Medallion.
  • Experience with cloud-based data strategies and big data technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and proficiency in PostgreSQL development, query optimization, and index design.
  • Ability to use advanced SQL concepts and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Expertise in writing ETL pipelines combining Python and SQL.
  • Understanding of data manipulation libraries in Python such as Pandas, Polars, and DuckDB.

  • Background or experience in the telecom industry is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Lovely automating and enjoy monitoring.
