Formulation Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Manager to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes with technical improvements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes within allotted timelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines such as US FDA, EMA, and WHO.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes using Design of Experimentation (DoE) and Quality by Design (QbD) principles to define design space, control strategy, critical/key parameters, and identify process risks.
  • Screen manufacturing sites based on formulation and process complexity/feasibility, ensuring seamless product transfers between development and manufacturing.
  • Lead Technology transfer function with adequate project management skills to ensure successful scale-up of new products and effective launches.
  • Define procedures for product transfers and implement standards for formulation technology transfer, serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for pharmaceutical processes and technologies.
  • Initiate, drive, and facilitate capacity enhancement, cost reduction, and time cycle reduction projects.
  • Review and approve departmental SOPs to ensure compliance with cGMP and CQA guidelines, technical changes, change control, deviations, and relevant documents.

About You:

  • You have a strong background in formulation development, with hands-on experience in technology transfer and scale-up.
  • You possess excellent documentation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You are a skilled project manager with cross-functional coordination experience, capable of reviewing and approving departmental SOPs.
