Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team as an Application Monitoring Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting applications, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and configuration of application monitoring tools, operational application management, and alarming for different applications.
  • Troubleshooting user issues, performing root cause analysis, and identifying recurring problems.
  • Defining and fine-tuning alerts, integrating application monitoring alerts in incident management tooling, and understanding web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
  • Analyzing and optimizing application code with respect to error handling and alerting.
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management.
  • Experience with IT service management tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, creating a cooperative environment where ideas and solutions are shared openly.
  • Project management skills to follow up on tasks, ensure timely completion, and efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Able to provide support and training to application teams with varying levels of technical expertise.
