Job Role: Inventory Manager

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in inventory management, with 3+ years of experience preferably in a manufacturing or engineering setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials, components, finished goods, and consumables in the stores.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels, raise alerts for reordering, and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
  • Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and systematic storage of materials for easy traceability.

Internal Stakeholder Support:

  • Issue materials to production, maintenance, and other departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure availability of required materials for uninterrupted operations.

Vendor & Procurement Coordination:

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders (quantity, quality, and specifications).
  • Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and report discrepancies to procurement/quality teams.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain and update inventory records in ERP/software/manual registers as per company standards.
  • Generate and share regular reports on stock movement, consumption patterns, material shortages, and wastages.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of materials in line with safety and quality standards.
  • Adhere to company policies and audit requirements related to inventory and stores management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP/Inventory Management systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Inventory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring that all materials are properly stored, tracked, and distributed to the right teams at the right time.

Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, monitoring stock levels, and conducting regular physical stock verifications. You will also be responsible for coordinating with vendors and suppliers, preparing Goods Receipt Notes, and reporting any discrepancies to the procurement and quality teams.
