Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to oversee banking device procurement, importation, and warehousing management. Key responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Evaluate multiple available products/services in the market to meet user requirements.
  • Compare goods/services with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • Finalize vendor and cost through RFP process, considering user requirements and techno-commercial evaluation.
  • Support users and legal functions for contract execution from a supply chain management perspective.
  • Manage end-to-end activities related to warehousing & inventory control management for all banking products/devices.
  • Coordinate with relevant user functions on a regular basis to understand their requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories accordingly.
  • Negotiate existing contracts to achieve cost savings through partner/agencies.
  • Raise agreements as per contracting guidelines, ensuring timely renewal before expiry.
  • Handle imports shipments end-to-end, coordinating with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHA, and customs departments for material arrangements.
  • Engage with user functions to resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing, and import.
  • Ensure vendor PO issuance and payment on time, coordinating with operations.
  • Regularly coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of ordered products/services and collect inventory reports daily.
  • Prepare and publish inventory reports for all products daily.
  • Support data analysis for monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to provide competitive pricing and timely services.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in sourcing, importation, and warehousing & inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.
Qualifications:
  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to effectively manage time in a dynamic environment and prioritize workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
