About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the project manager in all commercial and legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial project coordination, including applying for and monitoring bank guarantees, insurance, and other related topics.
  • Asset management and optimization of project profitability in collaboration with the project manager.
  • Preparation and monitoring of invoices, as well as internal project controlling (scheduling, costs, quality).
  • Regular project reporting, status meetings, and milestone reviews.
  • Collaboration in the final project report and summarizing lessons learned, including feedback to the organization.
  • Providing accurate and timely costs and cash flow forecasting.
  • Monitoring, controlling, and updating of project costs, risks, billings, invoicing, accruals, provisions, hedging, bank guarantees, insurance, taxation, and project reports.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience, with a Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree in Finance, and CA/CS/ICWA certification.
  • Reporting of status to management, including costs, billings, receivables, claims, and asset management.
  • Regular communication with customers and site visits.
  • Vendor management, including handling supplier invoices, payments, and letters of credit.
  • Establishing commercial and legal contract conditions with customers and consortium partners and sub-contractors.
  • Participating in negotiations and interpreting and implementing contracts in the project.
  • Asserting the company's claims and defending unjustified claims.
  • Reaching agreement on contractual changes regarding scope of supplies and services, prices, schedules, and other contractually agreed conditions.
  • Identification and financial evaluation of opportunities and risks, definition and implementation of appropriate measures for mitigating risks or exploiting opportunities, and establishment of reserves for remaining risks.
  • Supporting the controlling function of the segment, including debtors review, P&L review, balance sheet review, various reporting, and review documentation required as per ICFR.
  • Project Status Report and Project reviews/presentations to Management.
  • Good communication skills.
