Senior Structural Engineer Role

This is a challenging opportunity to take on a senior role in the engineering team, overseeing project work and guiding junior members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing feasibility study reports, assembling design specifications, defining building requirements, and carrying out detailed designs. They will also review calculations, ensure project costing information is accurate, and coordinate project contracts documents.

A key aspect of this role is leading the design process, encouraging team members to deliver appropriate and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, be fluent in English, and possess excellent technical knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications and skills are essential for this role:

  • Civil or Structural Engineering Degree">

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with membership to an accredited engineering body.

">British Chartered Engineer Status">

Obtaining British Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is desirable.

">Technical Knowledge">

The successful candidate must have significant experience in the design of Building Structures and be fully conversant with technical structural software such as RAM, CSC, ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.
