Job Description

The Treasury Management Specialist will oversee daily cash flows and forecasts, ensuring optimal liquidity to meet operational needs. This role involves coordinating with internal departments for fund planning and utilization, as well as managing banking relationships and negotiating terms for credit facilities.

  • Execute payments, fund transfers, and foreign exchange transactions
  • Handle bank documentation, account maintenance, and KYC compliance
  • Prepare and process documentation for Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees (BG)
  • Coordinate with banks and vendors for issuance, amendments, and closures

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Treasury Management Specialist must ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, adhere to RBI and FEMA regulations in all treasury activities, and prepare and file necessary reports and documentation with regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining treasury functions within SAP, supporting automation and process improvements in cash and treasury management, and ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of bank and treasury accounts.

Furthermore, the role requires developing and executing hedging strategies using forwards, options, and other instruments, monitoring market trends and currency movements to optimize hedging decisions, and maintaining documentation and compliance for all hedging activities.

Finally, the Treasury Management Specialist will coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for periodic stock audits, ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records, address discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience in treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis.

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are also an asset.
