About this role:

This is a dynamic position where you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

  • Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on GCP
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technology and apply this knowledge to improve our infrastructure and operations
  • Mentor junior engineers and help them grow in their careers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design and Deployment: Design and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on GCP, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new solutions, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technology and apply this knowledge to improve our infrastructure and operations, mentoring junior engineers and helping them grow in their careers.

Requirements:

  • Cloud Computing Expertise: Hands-on experience with GCP services (GKE, Compute Engine), specializing in one or two cloud deployment platforms: GCP (Support, Administration).
  • Programming Skills: Understanding of one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, .NET).
  • Logging and Monitoring Tools: Knowledge on logging and monitoring tools (ELK, Stack driver, CloudWatch).
  • Configuration Management Tools: Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef.
  • Deployment and Orchestration Technologies: Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos).
