Business Analyst - Capital Markets

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, documenting solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of trading systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of capital markets, trade life cycles, and derivatives products, as well as proficiency in business analysis tools such as Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office.

A solid grasp of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies is also essential. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams is crucial.

This role requires 3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or capital markets technology. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is required, along with professional certifications such as CBAP, Agile BA, or NCFM Capital Markets preferred.

Key responsibilities include leading requirement gathering sessions, translating business needs into clear functional specifications, maintaining and updating Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs), and participating in design walkthroughs to ensure requirements are technically feasible.

The selected candidate will have hands-on experience with trading platforms, order management systems, or exchange connectivity, exposure to regulatory compliance in securities markets, and a working knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.

Familiarity with APIs, FIX protocol, or market data feeds is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills, are essential for success in this role.
