Delays Expert

Companies require consultants with extensive experience in construction claims, arbitration, and dispute resolution to assess project delays, quantify claims, and prepare comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and conduct forensic delay analysis.
  • Identify delayed events, disruptions, and variations impacting the critical path.
  • Prepare and defend claims related to EOT, disruption, prolongation, and quantum.
  • Assist in cost analysis, quantity surveying, financial assessments, and claim evaluation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, advising on risks, obligations, and entitlements.
  • Provide insights on cost estimation, budgeting, variations, and commercial risk assessment.
  • Support arbitration, mediation, and litigation by preparing and defending claims.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional qualifications in Arbitration or Delay Analysis are beneficial.
  • Experience: 7-9 years of extensive experience in construction claims, arbitration, dispute resolution, and contract management, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Delay Analysis/EOT, Critical Path Method (CPM), Planning & Scheduling Tools, and Forensic Planning.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with effective stakeholder liaison.
