Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled culinary professional to join our catering team as a Pan Asian CDP.

  • Prepare authentic Pan Asian dishes (Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, etc.) by utilizing expertise in various cooking techniques such as wok cooking, stir-fry, grilling, steaming, and working with diverse flavors.
  • Lead the kitchen section (wok, grill, sushi, dim sum) effectively ensuring efficient operations during events.
  • Maintain a well-organized kitchen environment and ensure smooth service delivery throughout events.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff through mentorship and training sessions.
  • Guarantee adherence to hygiene, safety, and food regulations at all times.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development of Pan Asian offerings.
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in commercial kitchens with a minimum of 1-2 years in Pan Asian cuisine.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various cooking methods including wok cooking, stir-frying, grilling, steaming, and understanding of Asian flavor profiles.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume events.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Culinary degree or diploma preferred, along with excellent communication skills.
