Finance Operations Professional

This role is for a Weekday's client.
Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 600000 (ie INR 4-6 LPA)
Min Experience: 2 years
Location: Bengaluru
JobType: full-time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including AR, AP, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement automation tools to streamline finance processes such as invoicing, payments, and reporting.
Accounting Responsibilities:
  1. Issue invoices, track collections, categorize receivables, send payment reminders, reconcile ledgers, assess write-offs, update credit terms, and prepare detailed AR reports.
  2. Review supplier invoices, reconcile vendor statements, resolve disputes, classify expenses, ensure compliance with tax deductions (e.g., TDS), and prepare AP aging and cash flow reports.
  3. Maintain the fixed asset register, record depreciation, verify assets, monitor CapEx, record disposals, and ensure compliance with policies.
Support Functions:
  • Perform timely bank reconciliations between bank statements and ledger accounts.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining audit-ready records and assisting in due diligence activities.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, tax, and operations) to ensure smooth process execution.
Financial Planning:
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and perform cost structure and profitability analysis to support business decision-making.
