Product Design Assistant

Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our footwear team as a product design assistant. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills in the footwear industry, learn from experienced designers, and contribute to the creation of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the design team in creating product designs, sketches, and mood boards that meet global fashion trends.
  • Research consumer insights, competitor products, and local/global fashion trends to inform product development decisions.
  • Support product sampling, material selection, and technical specifications to ensure high-quality products.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers for sample follow-ups and timely delivery.
  • Maintain documentation of product details, costing sheets, and style references for future reference.
  • Provide support in photoshoots, merchandising displays, and social media/product content when required.
  • Contribute to day-to-day operations of the footwear department, including data entry and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Possess enthusiasm for the footwear industry and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with designers and other teams.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and proficiency in utilizing its tools for design purposes.
