As the Product Design Director, you will lead the design team and be the lead for our design strategy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our company by designing and releasing intuitive and powerful solutions that will empower both our internal teams and external users.

You'll build and lead a team of talented product designers, setting a vision for user experience across our products. Reporting directly into the Chief Product and Design Officer, you'll be a key voice in the product leadership team, translating complex capabilities and solutions into clear, compelling, and valuable experiences.

You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to ensure designs not only meet user needs but also push the boundaries of what is possible with AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategy: Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Previous experience working on AI-powered products and/or curiosity about the rapidly evolving landscape and its impact on design and user experience.
