Job Title: Front Office Director

The role of the Front Office Director is to oversee and manage the front office operations ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure.

  • Ensure a professional atmosphere throughout the front office area by managing day-to-day staffing needs, planning and assigning work for team members.
  • Develop and implement performance goals and objectives that align with hotel standards and ensure staff is properly trained in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and regular feedback to improve team member performance.
  • Train and educate team members on systems, security, service quality standards, and develop skills necessary for success in their roles.

Guest Experience:
  • Monitor and maintain an exceptional level of customer service, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Encourage collaboration between departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Financial Management:
  • Prepare departmental operating budgets and financial plans that align with hotel goals and objectives.
  • Monitor budget and control labor costs and expenses while maintaining a focus on rate strategy, building initiatives, and inventory management.

Security and Compliance:
  • Verify billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and handle all transactions in a secure manner.
  • Serve as a central point of contact during emergency situations and train team members on PBX procedures.
