Cloud Platform Specialist

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our engineering team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable backend services in Python. You will also deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and implement logging, monitoring and alerting using the ELK Stack.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about clean code, automation and cloud-native architectures.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Engineering and QA.

  • Design and develop scalable Python-based backend services.
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms.
  • Implement and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting using the ELK Stack.
  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external services.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-deployed applications and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of professional experience with Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI etc).
  • Proficient with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Strong experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana (ELK Stack) for log aggregation and visualization.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.
