Cloud Operations L2 Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our cloud-based services.

  • Platform Reliability & Availability:
    • Monitor and maintain production environment to ensure high system health for cloud services.
    • Improve system reliability and quality through automation, process refinement, and best practices.
    • Optimize system performance to ensure efficient resource utilization and optimal user experience.
  • Cloud Operations & Kubernetes Management:
    • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for cloud-native application deployments.
    • Implement and maintain containerization strategies and orchestration best practices.
    • Manage and troubleshoot Robin storage solutions within the Kubernetes environment.
    • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
    • Provision, scale, and optimize cloud resources for all deployed services.
  • Incident & Problem Management:
    • Collaborate on high-priority incident tickets to ensure rapid system recovery.
    • Provide immediate technical insights and support for cloud-native services.
    • Lead problem management efforts, including root cause analysis.
    • Identify bugs and work with development teams to implement fixes.
  • Monitoring & Alerting:
    • Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
    • Define and track service level indicators and objectives for critical services.
  • Automation & Tooling:
    • Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.
    • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
    • Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE role.
    • Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proactive Mindset: Ability to anticipate issues and propose preventative solutions.
    • Continuous Improvement: Strong desire to learn and drive continuous improvement.
