Technical Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Data Insights Specialist to join our team on a contractual, full-time basis. This role offers good monthly pay and flexibility to work across time zones.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical individual who can analyze workflows and processes to identify optimization opportunities. As a Technical Data Insights Specialist, you will support enterprise data platform (EDP) operations, including process improvement, cloud cost management, automation, and infrastructure support. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including platform engineering, data engineering, and vendor partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze Workflows and Processes: Identify optimization opportunities to improve EDP operations.
  • Build and Manage KPIs: Develop and manage key performance indicators, dashboards, and reports for leadership insights.
  • Support FinOps Initiatives: Assist in cloud cost optimization and vendor management.
  • Contribute to Infrastructure Operations: Collaborate on infrastructure planning, resiliency planning, and automation.
  • Lifecycle Management of IT Products: Assist in the lifecycle management of IT platform products.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and cloud operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and FinOps practices.
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Quicksight.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, IaC, and CI/CD analytics.
