We are seeking a seasoned Data Insights Specialist to spearhead our data-driven growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging analytics expertise to drive business outcomes.

About the Role

  • The successful applicant will lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions, driving actionable insights that inform business decisions.
  • They will possess exceptional SQL skills, with experience working in cloud-based warehouses such as BigQuery.
  • Able to design intuitive, self-serve dashboards using BI tools like Looker Studio or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with GA4 is essential, including event modeling, custom dimensions, and funnels.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python or R for data wrangling, notebooks, and automation tasks.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft clear narratives from data and deliver executive-ready summaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust analytics capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with our e-commerce platform.
  • Design and implement data visualizations that provide actionable insights, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data-driven strategies to optimize business outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in analytics, preferably within the eCommerce or consumer DTC space.
  • Expertise in SQL and experience working in BigQuery or similar cloud-based warehouses.
  • Proficiency in BI tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI, with the ability to create intuitive dashboards.
  • GA4 expertise, including event modeling, custom dimensions, and funnels.
  • Scripting skills in Python or R, with experience in data wrangling, notebooks, and automation tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives from data and deliver executive-ready summaries.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Shopify, Recharge, and Klaviyo datasets.
  • Familiarity with marketing attribution models, MMM, or causal inference techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4 analytics engineering tools, including tracking specs and GTM.
  • Exposure to AI/ML use cases, such as propensity scoring, next-best-offer, and demand forecasting.
