Job Title: Senior Data Architect

Role Summary:

A highly skilled professional is sought to lead the design and implementation of data architecture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating scalable and efficient data pipelines, as well as a strong background in big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create optimal data pipeline architectures
  • Design and implement events/streaming based architecture
  • Identify process improvements and automate manual processes
  • Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Develop data tools for analytics teams
  • Work with data scientists to enhance data systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in either Scala or Python
  • Expertise in Spark and performance tuning
  • Experience with DBT and relational SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Big data tools experience (HDFS/S3, Spark/Flink, Hive, Hbase, Kafka/Kinesis)
  • Cloud services experience (AWS/GCP)
  • Stream-processing systems experience (Spark-Streaming/Flink)
