Data Architect Leader

The Fabric Lead position is an exciting opportunity to spearhead the design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric solutions.

This role requires a seasoned professional with 9-12 years of experience, with 5+ years' experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and at least 1 year in MS Fabric (client implementation, not POC) projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solution Architecture: Design and oversee the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions, including integration with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  2. Leadership: Lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering scalable and secure data solutions.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery.
  4. Innovation: Stay up to date with Microsoft Fabric features, updates, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  5. Data Strategy: Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  6. Governance: Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  7. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
