Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Lead to drive the design and development of mechanical systems, from concept to detailed execution. This leadership role involves overseeing a design team, ensuring design quality, managing project timelines, and collaborating across functions to deliver innovative and robust solutions.

This individual will be responsible for creating process layouts/designs, preparing and reviewing part and process data, and developing concept-level designs. They will also oversee the creation of tasks, delegation to the team, monitoring, and maintaining progress.

The successful candidate will have expertise in process layout and design, strong background in concept and detailed design preparation, proven ability in team leadership, delegation, and supervision, experience in managing design quality, timelines, and budgets, knowledge of standard design programs and QMS systems, proficiency in analytical calculations, risk identification, and mitigation, and strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
