Senior Embedded QA Engineer Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Quality Assurance engineer to ensure the quality of our AI product.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, document, and execute test plans for our AI product.
  • Participate in new feature functional and design definitions.
  • Interface and support 3rd party integration partner needs.
  • Build and maintain an IoT QA lab equipped with various IoT malware signatures and malicious servers.
  • Analyze root cause of filed defects using device logs and testing tools.
  • Conduct testing coverage including functional, security, and performance features within embedded device firmware.
  • Integrate select test cases into our automated regression system.
  • Communicate with stakeholders including Product Management, Engineering, Support, and partners.
Requirements:
  • M.S./B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded device QA with network security experience.
  • Strong competence in L2/L3 networking protocols.
  • Solid understanding of embedded device testing and triage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Programming experience in Python.
  • Software testing methodology.
Preferred Skills:
  • Cloud technologies expertise.
  • Wi-Fi systems, standards, and protocols knowledge.
