Embedded Software Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software applications for industrial automation products.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in C, C++, and Assembly language, as well as experience with real-time operating systems and debugging tools. You should also be able to work effectively in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications for industrial automation products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to detail out clear requirements at the product level
  • Understand the software development life cycle and collaborate effectively in an Agile work environment
  • Estimate development tasks with high accuracy and complete all assigned tasks within the same sprint
  • Take full responsibility and accountability for the product owned
  • Evaluate test results and assist design engineers in root cause analysis for test failures and provide solutions
  • Help design teams perform debugging to fix issues or improve performance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

We require a Computer Science, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering graduate with a minimum of 7 years of experience in product development of industrial and automation products.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience in C, C++, and Assembly languages, as well as experience with complex algorithms, multi-threaded applications, and device drivers.

You should also have experience handling different communication protocols, knowledge of real-time operating systems, and strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools like GNU Debugger.
