Firmware Development Role

As a key member of our firmware development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing embedded solutions for Linux-based gateway systems. Our team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join us in this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware on Linux-based devices.
  • Yocto-Based System Development: Work on Yocto-based Linux system development, ensuring seamless integration with systemd.
  • Linux Device Driver Development: Develop and optimize Linux device drivers and embedded security features.
  • Cloud Connectivity: Integrate with AWS IoT Core for cloud-based device connectivity, data exchange, and management.
  • Coding and Testing: Write, test, and debug Embedded C code, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Unit Testing: Conduct unit testing using the cppunit framework, ensuring code quality and robustness.
  • Test-Driven Development: Adhere to Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to enhance code maintainability and scalability.
  • Scripting Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
  • RF Product Development: Experience with designing and developing RF products for public and proprietary networks.
  • Firmware Development Tools: Experience with embedded firmware development tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DC power analyzers, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Documentation and Communication: Excellent documentation practices and communication skills.
  • Project Management: Commitment to maintaining project schedules and delivering tasks on time.
  • Avoid Workflow Bottlenecks: Collaborate in an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement.
  • Avoid Team Distractions: Experience working in agile development environments with cross-functional teams.
