About MGS India

MUFG Global Service Private Limited (MGS) is 100% subsidiary of MUFG having offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. MGS India has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally.

MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG's global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

About the Role

This role is part of MUFG's Global Trade Finance team, responsible for processing Trade and Remittance transactions. The successful candidate will be working closely with other teams to ensure smooth conduct of transactions.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Trade Finance Administrator to join our team in Bangalore or Mumbai. As a Trade Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Process all administrative tasks related to data capture;
  • Post duties and controls;
  • Mechanical processing of letters of credit, guarantees, and fees in the banks systems;
  • Letter of credit acceptance;
  • Payouts of TF instruments;
  • Guarantee fee management;
  • Documentary collection processing;
  • Other reasonable tasks as requested;

You will also be responsible for ensuring that processing is effected in a team spirit and avoid silo-based attitudes where people should think beyond their immediate workspace and consider the wider team's pressure points thereby delivering maximum efficiency.
