Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

  • Deliver advanced network support for a range of devices, including routers, security appliances, switches, and network storage equipment.
  • Verify customer-reported issues to validate defects with the engineering team.
  • Participate in product testing to assist with new product releases.
  • Review and validate internal documents and knowledge articles for internal and public dissemination.
  • Analyze customer calls to identify product problems in the field and recommend call avoidance strategies.
  • Develop and conduct technical training for staff and/or client partners.
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) is required for on-site support.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, along with at least 5 years of experience supporting network environments. In lieu of experience, CCNA certification or equivalent networking experience is acceptable.
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of network topologies, as well as network implementation and design.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including wireless, firewalls, VPNs, switches, and network storage technology.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of network and routing protocols.
  • Experience with MS-Windows/Linux networking applications is essential.
  • The candidate must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills are required.
