Job Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth and success in our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand our customer base and increase sales revenue.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize your expertise in identifying new business opportunities and generating high-quality leads through various channels, including cold calling, referrals, market visits, and digital platforms.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales plans to acquire new customers and cross-sell our life insurance products.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor competitor activities and industry trends, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the market landscape.
- Daily Sales Performance Tracking: Update CRM tools with accurate and timely sales data to inform strategic decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 1-7 years of experience in BFSI/insurance/financial products sales.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth understanding of financial and insurance products.
- Negotiation and persuasion skills.
