
Agricultural Products Sales Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and driven Agricultural Field Officer to promote and sell our agricultural products and services to farmers, distributors, and retailers. This role involves extensive fieldwork, providing technical guidance, and achieving sales targets within a designated territory.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including farmers, dealers, and distributors.
- Conduct field visits to farms to assess crop conditions, provide technical advice on product usage, and demonstrate best practices.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new agricultural technologies.
- Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops for farmers to educate them on product benefits and application.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market feedback, and forecasts to management.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Education: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agriculture is mandatory.
- Experience: For Freshers, no prior experience is required but a strong passion for agriculture, a willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills are essential. For Experienced Candidates, proven experience in sales or marketing of agricultural inputs is required.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, crops, and rural markets; excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively; results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets; proficiency with basic computer applications.
